About Us:
Dr. Rebecca Malakoff is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist and founder of Green Mountain Veterinary Cardiology. A Massachusetts native, she completed her undergraduate degree at Smith College and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University. Dr. Malakoff completed both a rotating small animal internship and cardiology residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, followed by over 15 years as a staff cardiologist for the MSPCA at both the Angell-AMC Boston and Waltham locations. After working as a mobile cardiologist in the Boston area for 2 years, her family relocated to southern Vermont. She is excited to bring her cardiology expertise to this area of New England!
As a Fear Free certified clinician, Dr. Malakoff strives to make all testing as minimally stressful as possible for her patients.
Areas served
Dr. Malakoff currently is available to travel to small animal clinics in the Brattleboro VT, Bennington VT, Keene NH, North Adams MA, and Greenfield MA regions. If you are nearby but outside of these regions, feel free to inquire about whether she may travel to your hospital.
